Hi Friend!! I’m Taylor Goldberg, a chiropractor-turned-hypermobility coach. I help those struggling with hypermobility and its related comorbidities navigate the newness and unknowns of hEDS/HSD.

Whether you’re dealing with chronic joint pain, dysautonomia, exercise intolerance, or other related symptoms, I am here to support, educate, empower, and get you excited about achieving your goals no matter how big or small they may seem.

Keep on reading to learn more about my personal story with hEDSs and why I’m so passionate about my work today.

GROWING UP WITH HEDS

Navigating through the health and wellness world with hypermobility can be extremely frustrating and difficult – I get it.

For as long as I can remember, I was always the “Gumby Girl.” I loved my mobility as a kid and thought it was so cool that my mom and I could do the same party tricks (she has hEDSs too).

Similar to other bendy people, I picked a sport that used my mobility to its advantage, competitive cheerleading. But by my junior year of college, the severe neck pain began.

I was a pre-med major at the time and visited multiple M.D.’s without receiving conclusive answers.

As I started to experience medical gaslighting for the first time, I realized I did not want to be a part of that system.

PURSUING A CAREER IN CHIROPRACTIC

I decided to switch gears and pursue Chiropractic. I knew this field would allow me to practice in a holistic, patient-centered manner where I could help people understand their bodies and manage their pain.

Going through Chiropractic school with hypermobility was a challenge. Nobody, including the professors, knew the dangers of spinal manipulation on a hypermobile neck.

As my neck pain grew worse, I knew something had to change, and I had to be the one to change it. I took my educational experience and applied it to myself, for the first time in YEARS, I felt relief.

I felt empowered knowing that there was hope for other hypermobile bodies who have been told for so long, “there is nothing we can do for that.”

THE HYPERMOBILE CHIRO TODAY

After receiving my Doctorate in Chiropractic from University Of Western States in 2021, I began sharing my experience with Hypermobility across social media on TikTok and Instagram (@thehypermobilechiro).

As my engagement grew, I realized I could be the support and guidance others needed. I began to coach clients here and there, and officially began The Hypermobile Chiro in 2022.

As of today, I see clients full-time in a virtual setting from my home in Colorado Springs.

It brings me extreme joy and fulfillment to help my clients reach their goals and create lasting change.

Some fun things about me:

~I would rather spend time on my hands than on my feet.

~My favorite place I’ve visited is Sedona, Arizona (it is magical).

~ If I could choose only 1 show to watch on repeat forever, it would be New Girl – 100%

Thank you for being here!
